Research
Understanding what adulthood feels like
We explored the everyday challenges young adults face when moving into adult life. From practical responsibilities to social expectations and the feeling of having to figure everything out yourself.
Key insights
What we discovered
Adulthood feels overwhelming
There is a lot to learn when becoming an adult, but much of the knowledge is expected to be learned along the way.
People want practical knowledge
Young adults need clear and useful guidance they can apply directly to situations in everyday life.
Learning should feel engaging
Information becomes more approachable when it is short, visual, interactive and connected to reallife situations.
The concept
Adulthood 1.0
Vokseværk turns the things nobody really teaches you, into a playful and accessible learning experience. Instead of overwhelming users with information, the platform breaks adult life down into smaller, manageable pieces.
Learn
Short and accessible content, introduces practical topics that become relevant when entering adult life.
Test yourself
Quizzes turn passive information into an interactive experience and give users a chance to test what they have learned.
Take action
Checklists turn knowledge into small actions users can complete and keep track of.
Interaction
Learning by
doing
Quizzes
Interactive quizzes make the content more engaging and allow users to test their knowledge along the way.
Progress
A progress indicator gives users a sense of direction and makes the learning experience feel achievable.
Checklist
Users can turn advice into action through a practical checklist that remembers their progress.
Reflection
What we learned
This project taught us how interaction can transform information into
an experience. Working with quizzes, progress indicators and
checklists showed us how small interactive elements can make a digital
product feel more engaging and motivating.
